Advancing Equity in College & Career Pathways: Transformative Research-Based Approaches: A workshop from the College and Career Pathway Research Collaborative
Are you working to ensure equity in students’ experiences and outcomes from college and career pathway programs? This 29 minute video introduces research-based approaches and resources developed in the process of prioritizing an equity research agenda for college and career pathways centered in practitioners' critical problems of practice. Scholar practitioners from UC Berkeley, UCLA, and the Linked Learning Alliance share the key lessons learned and the resources gathered through a 3 year collaborative effort involving hundreds of researchers and practitioners. We examine a concrete example of how to use research on a specific equity issue to define potential approaches for your particular community context. We provide links to resources you can access to inform college and career pathway practice and drive systems changes that advance equitable experiences and outcomes for students.
