As we embark upon another quarter of CCASN Solutions, I would like to highlight a very special historical CCASN moment! Happy 20th Birthday to the College and Career Academy Support Network at the Graduate School of Education (GSE). I continue to be humbled by the opportunity to serve CCASN as it’s latest Executive Director. It is quite a privilege to join an institutional team with such rich legacy as a leader in the field and powered by a collective team of leaders whose commitment, vision and action has “solutions” built into its organizational DNA! CCASN is a research-practice partnership that has been working in the Graduate School of Education at Berkeley for 20 years. We would especially like you to join us for an afternoon of informational learning and evening of fun, celebration and visioning forward
Our three-fold mission:
- build capacity of educators and communities to enact research-based strategies for student success now and in college, career, and civic life;
- collect and disseminate evidence on student outcomes and exemplary practices;
- promote policies to make education fair and real.

The Intersectionality of Research, Practice and Policy: A College and Career Exhibition
Our exhibition will feature leaders in the field who will present the historical intersectionality of College and Career research, practice and policy, describing synergistic activities, highlighting past accomplishments, and pointing to new possibilities.
