Targeted support materials supplement the main curriculum resource. They provide additional or adapted materials that reflect the needs and learning styles of the target audiences, as well as the instructional contexts.
For example, support materials for English Language Learners may include additional images, drawings or other contextual clues, and use simplified language. Support materials for industry involvement may offer ideas for involving industry partners as learning resources; and some materials may be written specifically for those partners.
Targeted support is usually, but not exclusively, presented by staff with specific training and expertise.
